Need new ideas for your speech and language therapy sessions?

Do any of you use Pinterest?

It’s such a great way of finding ideas for therapy!

I’ve been searching for some ideas for Easter themed activities and came across so many just on the first page.

What I love is that they’re mostly in picture form, so I can very quickly get new ideas and see what I could make!

There are lots of ideas on Pinterest using plastic eggs. I got loads of those plastic fillable eggs from Hobbycraft a few weeks back which are great at Easter of course, but I use them all year round for speech sounds work. I love hiding small toys in them. You can also fill them to make shakers and talk about the sounds they make, for example pasta, pom poms, rice, paperclips, anything you can find! Getting the kids to make the shakers up with you creates many opportunities for language!

Happy Easter everyone!
