Update: Local to Gravesend or Sittingbourne, Kent? We have jobs waiting for you! To start ASAP, one day a week in a mainstream primary school! Contact us today.
I am looking for some more Speech and Language Therapists from across Kent to join my ever-growing team!
Qualified therapists need to be flexible and enthusiastic, and have experience of working in mainstream primary schools. The therapist will need to be self-employed; I can offer support with this if need be. Work would be local to you and there is plenty of work out there if required!
Whatever you can offer will be considered e.g. 1 day a week, 2 days a month? Perhaps you work for the NHS and want to try being self-employed, or perhaps you just want to top up your income with the flexibility of fitting around childcare or school runs?
The therapist will work independently in school and liaise with the local NHS speech therapy service for pupils if required. They will need to work to a high standard and their roles would include assessment, report writing and target setting, therapy, training TAs to carry out intervention programmes as well as lots of liaison with parents, teachers and other professionals.
You don’t have to worry about the ‘business’ side of things with the school at all; all that will be taken care of. Other speech therapists won’t physically work alongside you, so you would need to be happy to work within the education team, but you will be offered clinical supervision as well as personal support from a very caring boss! I am always at the end of the phone or email anytime to help with any matters.
I am looking for therapists who feel as passionately as I do about offering a fantastic tailor-made service to schools, pupils and families without as many constraints! Great rates of pay, dependent on experience and prompt payment directly into your bank account once the work is complete; no long waiting for schools to pay you!
If you are interested or want to chat further please call me on 07967 031558 or 01233 740745, email info@speech4schools.co.uk or complete the enquiry form below. Or we can meet for a coffee!

Understanding and addressing speech and language challenges among your pupils can put considerable pressure on your team. We know that limited time and resources means your staff aren’t always able to provide the level of support they’d like to, that helps children progress and achieve.
